Training Academy

Although training has always been an integrated part of the employment process within the Company to control the standard and quality of all staff in the service-orientated industry, it was only in 2000 that a Training Centre was established to align our training with the National Skills Development Act. It is the vision that Intercape would make a contribution in terms of road safety and service excellence towards the road transport industry in Southern Africa.
Our Training team consist of qualified and registered Assessors, Moderators, Instructors and soft skill Facilitators.
ACCREDITATION
The Training Academy received full accreditation with the Transport Education and Training Authority in July 2006 - TETA03-008.

Credited learners can drive a specific type of rigid heavy vehicle in accordance with legal, safety, manufacturer and other relevant requirements and reflect on the manner in which the vehicle is operated. This set of competence is transferable to all other fields where services are provided to customers, and thus improves the employability of credited learners, by enhancing their understanding of the processes and the context of customer service. |
